For the first time in eight years, a Germany Year is taking place in Russia again, from September 2020 to mid-2021. A large number of events will showcase the many different aspects of life in Germany, but also of the German-Russian relations – in art and culture, language, education and science, tourism, environment and climate protection, business and technology, renewable energies and sustainability. Established and new formats will stimulate the German-Russian dialogue.

DMAN will, of course, make its contribution to this event. In February 2021, we plan three online events in Russian to introduce the state of Lower Saxony and its traditionally diverse relations with Russia. We will report on the planned contents and dates in our newsletter in good time and are looking forward to an intensive dialogue.

The Germany Year 2020/21 in Russia is organised by the German Embassy in Moscow, the Goethe-Institut Russia and the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, and supported by the Russian government.
