In 2022, DMAN is again actively involved in the implementation of the Manager Training Programme (MP) with which the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) supports the further training of managers from Asia, Eastern Europe, North Africa and Latin America.

The general management of the programme was entrusted to Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ). Since 1998, more than 16,000 executives and decision-makers from 21 countries have been able to participate in the MP, not only learning about German business culture, but also experiencing German best practices and establishing personal business contacts.

The goal of the program is to give the international executives the opportunity to get to know the German market, establish business relationships with German companies and develop long-term partnerships with them. In addition, the (international) management skills of the participants are strengthened, company visits to Germany are organized, and the exchange between German and international managers is promoted.

Since 2022, the MP has been offered in a new format: The "social blended learning concept" offers participants more tools for maximum business success. Going forward, the programme's learning units will alternate between online and face-to-face formats (blended learning). In learning groups and through various forms of coaching, exchange among the international participants will be strengthened and anchored as an additional form of competence development (social learning).

The new MP format is supported by a specially developed digital learning and communication platform, the "MP Campus". It supports the online modules of the training, communication between the participants, and continuous learning support.

The hybrid learning format culminates in a two-week stay in Germany of the international participants. This is followed by a 6-month follow-up phase with a final networking event in the participants’ home country.
