Celle Castle Talk: Innovation in medium-sized businesses
The globalisation offers numerous opportunities for medium-sized enterprises. New markets can be opened up where the highly innovative products from German companies are in demand.
Titled "Innovation in medium-sized businesses - recipes for success on the world market", the third Celle Castle Talk on 22 May 2014 shed a light on the various aspects of this topic. The focus was on entrepreneurs from Lower Saxony who reported on their experiences.

First, however, the floor was given to the organisers: DMAN Managing Director Ralf Othmer (left) and Dr. Volker Schmidt, General Manager of NiedersachsenMetall, explained the importance of innovation on globalised markets.
Comedian Matthias Brodowy, "chief director of high-level bullshit", approached the subject from a completely different angle. His motto: "Innovation through confusion".
The first panel discussion included: Klaus Lütkemeier, Head of HR Management at Phoenix Contact, Thomas Buschjohann, Head of Simultaneous Development at KSM Castings Group, and Dr. Klaus-Heiner Röhl of the German Economic Institute.
„Pushing the limits ingeniously“, that is what leadership expert Peter Baumgartner recommended in his keynote speech. He explained how company owners and managers can overcome boundaries and uncover new potentials for success in order to break new ground and become innovation leaders. Because “innovation makes the difference”.

The second panel discussion included Andreas Sandmann, Managing Director of Purplan, Holger Giebel, Managing Director of TimberTower, and keynote speaker Peter Baumgartner (from left to right).
After the formal part of the event, the participants happily used the Get-together at DMAN for extensive exchange of information and experience.
