Intercultural seminar and individual coaching in Kiev

In the framework of the Manager Training Programme of the BMWi, a group of 23 doctors from Ukraine came to Celle in November 2017 to study the German healthcare system. In addition to the knowledge transfer in the seminar, the physicians visited hospitals and clinics to get to know the best practices in Germany on site and to exchange ideas with their German colleagues.

From 20 to 23 July 2017, DMAN programme manager Julia Thoma, had gone to Kiev to prepare the group for their four-week stay in Germany with solution-oriented consulting and coaching.

It was her first visit to Ukraine. After two intensive seminar and coaching days, that were exciting from an intercultural point of view, some of the participants offered to show Julia Thoma important sights of Kiev.

"I had not expected Kiev to be so beautiful and architecturally interesting. The town combines history and modernity in a very special way. The participants took me to eat Ukrainian. The borage soup and the stuffed dumplings, called vareniki, tasted just great. I will try to cook these delicious dishes at home!"
